Ford transit rear door sensor location.
There must be a sensor on the rear door so the van knows when the doors are closed the only thing i can think of while giving me such problems where is it located so i can check it out.
Fuse is not the issue as alarm is on not off.
I am driving a ford transit from 2008 and i keep getting a door open signal from the sliding door when i drive over bumpers or around curves even though the door is closed.
What causes the door ajar alarm on the read cargo doors.
Wire going to left side door only.
Rear door lock sensor location not locking.
All transits 2000 2013.
Just removed inside door panels looking for.
No wire going to inside of right hand door.
It seems to go to the license plate light.
Ford transit rear door ajar sensor bypass by jim archer mon nov 11 2013 9 40 am don t quote me but there is usually a contactor to say the door is fully closed and one on each lock mechanism to signal that it has positioned correctly.
